Description Fireproof safe 060EHK
Fireproof safes are a type of safe designed to protect cash and other valuables from the effects of fire hazards. The main mistake of buyers when buying fireproof safes is to hope that a fireproof safe can protect valuables from robbery. The main difference from burglar-proof safes is that between the walls of its fire-resistant counterpart - fire-resistant concrete, which has a finely porous structure, which actually provides its low thermal conductivity. The class of fireproof safes depends on the wall thickness of the concrete layer. But the strength properties of this type of concrete are not high and they can not provide protection from external mechanical impact with a tool. When buying a fireproof safe, you must have noticed that the safe door does not fit tightly enough to the body of the safe. This design feature should not frighten the customer. This design feature should not frighten the customer, because the most difficult task is to guarantee fire resistance in the area where the door closes, so as measures to provide the necessary service properties, two methods are used: thermal locking (a cascade type of door consisting of several transitions) or thermal insulating pads. In the event of a fire, the concrete warms up and the heat insulating pads expand, thus ensuring the lowest possible heat conductivity. More expensive versions of safes use both a temperature lock and thermal insulating pads. Any fireproof safe must be resistant to fire and must fulfil one of the six fire resistance classes. A certified safe must also provide protection against fire for a minimum of 90 minutes. In addition, the fire resistance classes differ depending on the storage objects: money, documents, papers, discs... Another main factor to pay attention to is that fireproof safes are not fixed to the floor or wall, as this affects their properties. Safes equipped with a special stand are considered an exception.
Three combinations of locks are available for this range of fireproof safes: electronic code lock with rotary mechanism (EN), electronic code and key lock (EK) and two key locks (KK):
Before the start of production, all models of Diplomat fireproof safes passed a large number of tests and trials, which is confirmed by numerous certificates. One of them is the fire resistance test.
The safe can withstand a temperature of 1010 degrees centigrade for 90 minutes. To pass the test, the temperature inside the fireproof safe must not exceed 150 degrees Celsius.
As you can see from the photo, the contents of the safe were not damaged after the test. We recommend using this range of safes to keep valuable information and belongings safe. With this fireproof safe you don't have to worry about the contents in case of fire. 100% fire protection!
