Features of shelf racks with chipboard shelf

The racks of this series have gained very high popularity due to their low price, versatility and ease of installation. The shelves are made of chipboard with a thickness of 10 mm. This allows you to safely load each shelf of the rack up to 80 kilograms. The metal frame consists of racks, jumpers and locks. The frame of the rack is made of low-alloy sheet steel with a thickness of 1 mm, which has rather impressive strength. To protect the metal from corrosion, phosphating of the surface is used, followed by powder coating.

The rack has a modular design, is assembled and fixed with the help of a special perforation applied on the racks and lintels. This allows you to assemble the rack without using tools. The perforation applied on the racks also allows you to change the distance between the shelves, which is a multiple of 38 mm. In some cases, if low objects are stored on the rack, you can buy sets of shelves and increase their number on the rack. It is desirable to complete all the racks with supports, which make the structure more stable, compensate for all the irregularities of the floor and set the horizontal shelves. For rooms with expensive or fragile floors (parquet, linoleum, tiles), it is advisable to use plastic supports. A passport is also included with the rack, which contains general information, application, assembly procedure and warranty obligations. The warranty period for this rack is 12 months.

The use of shelving racks with a chipboard shelf

They are bought for use, both in everyday life and for industrial purposes. Thanks to the modular design, the packed rack takes up very little space and is easy to transport. This is relevant in cases where it is necessary to deliver several racks by private transport, for example to the country. Racks of this series are usually purchased to optimize space in garages, workshops, storerooms, small storage rooms and so on. They are perfect for preservation, parts, personal items, food and other items.

Also, racks with a chipboard shelf are quite common at service stations, shops, suppliers' warehouses. The use of polymer coatings makes it possible to use shelving in non-ventilated and relatively humid rooms. But it is not necessary to place the racks of this series in damp, humid rooms. In this case, the shelf life is significantly reduced. In such cases, it will be correct to use galvanized or stainless steel racks, which we also manufacture. The rack should be stored indoors at an air temperature of 0 ... +40 °C and relative humidity of up to 80%.

The order of assembly of racks with a chipboard shelf

1. Assemble the two side walls of the rack (see Fig. 1). By placing the pins on the jumpers “2” in the slots of the racks “1” (the assembly of the rack should begin with a longer side). Jumpers should be installed in pairs at the same level.
2. Connect the two assembled side walls of the rack (see Fig. 2) using the transverse jumpers “3”, connecting them to the rack in the same way as the previous article. Insert the locks “4” into the ends of the racks, as shown in Fig. 2.
3. Having installed the second tier of racks on the locks, assemble the frame of the rack, as shown in Fig. 3.
4. Install shelves “5” on the assembled frame of the rack (see Fig. 4).
5. Install the supports on the racks from below.
