Overview of the Electronic Touch Lock
The resistance of a door to burglary directly depends on the chosen lock. Its quality is determined by the level of the security system. An electronic touch lock is a modern means of protection that serves as an alternative to mechanical locking methods. The device operates in two modes. The "Public" mode allows the use of a one-time password for locking/unlocking. The code is entered before closing and will be inactive thereafter. The "Public" mode code is used only once. The "Private" mode operates with a permanent password. If necessary, the password can be replaced with a new one. The lock code can consist of symbols from 4 to 15.
Characteristics of the electronic code lock:
- absence of a key;
- fast password replacement system;
- automatic transition to "security" mode;
- ease of unlocking the lock after the doors are closed;
- hidden location of the lock due to the absence of a keyhole.
The lock is mortise, wireless, and operates in automatic mode. If the code is entered incorrectly four times in a row, an alarm will sound after 60 seconds, and the door will automatically lock. This is achieved by a bolt at an angle of 90ᵒ. The lock is suitable for installation on metal doors. It is powered by a single battery. Access to the lock is possible only by password. The installation type is mortise. It is convenient for mounting on wardrobe doors used in offices, locker rooms, and schools.
