The shelf kit ST is an additional component for shelving units manufactured by UHL-MASH. The shelf panel and supporting braces match the dimensions of the modular shelving units of the ST series. The kit allows for an increase in the number of shelves on the product. This helps optimize the use of usable space. You can purchase the shelf kit ST on the UHL-MASH website.
Features and Advantages of Use
Expanding the usable area of the shelf helps avoid the need to purchase new storage furniture. This saves space in the workshop, shop, or garage. The additional shelf and braces can support the same load as standard components – 80 kg. The depth of the shelf kit is 300, 400, or 600 mm, and the length is 760 or 900 mm.
The shelf kit includes:
- shelf panel;
- longitudinal posts;
- transverse posts;
- stiffening rib for the shelf.
The posts and panel are made of metal. The manufacturer offers modifications coated with powder paint (RAL-7035) or galvanized versions. Before painting, the metal undergoes anti-corrosion treatment. This protects against corrosion caused by moisture exposure.
The edges of the shelf are bent on the longitudinal sides, and holes for fasteners are drilled in the corners. Hooks for attachment to vertical posts are made on the edges of the edges. This technical solution does not require fasteners for assembling the structure. The reinforcing rib is placed under the shelf. This part is screwed in with bolts. All necessary fasteners and instructions are included with the shelf kit. Assembly can be done independently or with the help of UHL-MASH specialists.
