The shelf amplifier of the ST rack is an additional furniture accessory for storage produced by UHL-MASH. When placing heavy items (auto parts, wheel rims, tools, etc.), shelves may sag and require support. What is the purpose of the shelf amplifier for the rack
Shelves made of metal or particle board, which are installed on ST series racks, have a design load capacity specified in the instructions. If individual elements or the structure as a whole require additional support, the amplifier fulfills this task. Long rails that support the shelves have technological holes for fastening one amplifier. If necessary, additional holes can be drilled in the shelf supports for a second or third amplifier.
The structure diagram of the ST rack shelf amplifier includes:
- rail;
- hooks for fasteners;
- stiffening ribs along the edges of the rail.
The device is made of sheet metal that has undergone anti-corrosion treatment. Powder coating was used for painting, matching the tone of the main structure. It is possible to install either one amplifier on one shelf (using the default hole) or several. For this, it will be necessary to drill holes in the required places. The attachment to the shelves is done using fasteners.
