Fire-resistant safes are a type of safe designed to protect cash and other valuables from the dangerous effects of fire. The main mistake buyers make when purchasing fire-resistant safes is the hope that a fire-resistant safe will protect valuables from theft. The main difference from burglary-resistant safes is that between the walls of its fire-resistant counterpart is fire-resistant concrete, which has a fine-pored structure that actually provides its low thermal conductivity. The class of fire-resistant safes depends on the thickness of the concrete layer walls. However, the strength characteristics of this type of concrete are not very high, and they cannot guarantee protection against external mechanical impact with tools. When purchasing a fire-resistant safe, you probably noticed that the door of the safe does not fit tightly against the body of the safe. This design feature should not scare the buyer; it is explained by the fact that the most challenging task is to guarantee fire resistance specifically in the area of the door closure. As measures to provide the necessary operational properties, two methods are used: a thermal lock (a cascading type of door consisting of several transitions) or thermal insulating gaskets. In a fire, the concrete heats up, and the thermal insulating gaskets expand, thereby ensuring the lowest possible thermal conductivity. In expensive models of safes, both a thermal lock and thermal insulating gaskets are used. Any fire-resistant safe must be fire-resistant and comply with one of six classes of fire resistance. Additionally, a certified safe must provide fire protection for at least 90 minutes. Furthermore, fire resistance classes differ depending on the objects stored: money, documents, papers, disks… Another main factor to pay attention to is that fire-resistant safes are not anchored to the floor or wall, as this affects their properties. The exception is safes equipped with a special stand. Buy a safe Diplomat at our representatives in different cities: Kyiv, Kharkiv, Odesa, Donetsk, Lviv, Dnipro. For this line of fireproof safes, three combinations of locks are available: an electronic code lock with a rotary mechanism (EN), electronic code and key locks (EK), and two key locks (KK):

Before launching production, all models of fire-resistant safes from the "Diplomat" company underwent a large number of tests and trials, which is confirmed by numerous certificates. One of them is the fire resistance test.

The safe withstands a temperature of 1010 degrees Celsius for 90 minutes. To pass the test, the temperature inside the fireproof safe must not exceed 150 degrees.

As seen in the photograph, the contents of the safe were unharmed after the tests. We recommend using this line of safes to preserve valuable information and items. By using this fire-resistant safe, you can rest assured about the contents in the event of a fire. 100% fire protection!
