How to choose a fire-resistant safe

When choosing a product, the first thing to determine is its size. The second most important factor in the choice is its fire resistance class. There are several modifications of fire-resistant safes, and each of them can withstand flames for different periods. The design of the safe consists of two metal walls and a special concrete mixture between them that prevents fire from entering. To confirm its claimed characteristics, a prototype is tested before production. Below is the process of heating the safe from the outside and checking the temperature inside it.

The main features of this series are:

• the door and body of the safe are made using a patented fire-resistant concrete mixture;
• the perimeter of the door opening is equipped with a fire-resistant seal;
• locking system with active and passive bolts;
• the design uses a thermal lock;
• equipped with plastic feet;
• fire resistance class 90B (capable of not raising the temperature inside above normal for up to 90 minutes);
• light gray color polymer powder coating.

The main task of a fire-resistant safe is to protect its contents from fire and high temperatures. To achieve this goal, a special fire-resistant concrete mixture is poured into the body of the product. A fire-resistant seal is also installed around the entire perimeter of the door opening, which prevents fire from entering. The body of the safe is painted in a shade of white (RAL-9002) with a special powder coating. Thanks to this coating, the product is environmentally safe.
